South Coast College honored the high achievers at its February 21, 2009 Winter Commencement.

Jose Navarro, a student in the Medical Assistant Program, received a special award at graduation.  Jose was acknowledged for his contributions to the Medical Assistant Program.

Kathryn Olsen, a court reporting student, and Bonita Chavis Baranyai, a paralegal student both won scholarships from the Legal Secretaries Association.  This year is the second consecutive year in which South Coast College students were recipients of the scholarship.
