On August 8, 2009, Todd Olivas, CSR, owner of Olivas Reporting, will be a speaker at the graduation ceremony of South Coast College, conducted at St. Joseph’s Auditorium, in Orange.  Todd is a graduate of South Coast College, who like many of the alumni, continues to support South Coast College and its students, faculty, and graduates in many ways.

In a conversation with Kelly Kilzer who is graduating in court reporting, Kelly told President Jean Gonzalez that she heard about court reporting in high school.  She contacted Todd Olivas and interviewed him for a high school project.  She was inspired by what he said about the career of court reporting and enrolled immediately upon graduation.

Todd has been an inspiration to many South Coast College students.  He is an accomplished speaker and is able to relate to students.  His talks are always informative and encouraging.

Todd not only promotes himself but promotes others.  Irma Badial, CSR, another graduate of South Coast College, recently visited the campus.  She indicated that she loves working with Todd because he is so supportive.
